The Sunset Montauk

Very nice establishment. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I like the clean white look inside. Great shower head and draw space for clothes. Outside is fantastic. Lots of seating and propane fire pods. Games for everyone to play.

Everyone on staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. The only drawback was that there was no sink in the kitchen area just in the bathroom. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The grounds were nice and Inviting with music playing, games available and plenty of seating around with tabetop fire pits to enjoy. You have use of the pool access the street at their sister hotel. Steps away from Gosman's Dock and Sunset Beach.. A Great value for a nice stay in Montauk.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and The Montauk Sunset was just lovely! Great room! So clean and welcoming! The ladies in the office were lovely and very attentive to our needs! I definitely will be back and I HIGHLY recommend anyone stay here! Thank you Montauk Sunset for a wonderful week!

I’ve stayed at many places in Montauk and loved this one more than most! The ambiance is very quaint and cute, and the staff was so welcoming and friendly! I liked the location of the hotel - was off the best and path and quiet which I loved. The outdoor area is amazing, loved sitting and relaxing outside our room! The bathroom in our room was smaller but it was a nice and clean room overall. The one thing I didn’t like was that our neighbor had a dog in their room that would bark a lot. Besides that 10 out of 10 recommend, I already booked my next stay!

Had never stayed there before - was so pleasantly surprised! Beautiful room - classic white clean decor rooms. Staff were so friendly and kind! Loved the fun ambiance- lawn lights at night with fire pits and games. How great that bicycles were included. What a nice quick ride to the bay water and GOsman’s Dock area! Loved! Ty for a perfect stay !

Everything was wonderful! Check in was easy, the rooms were clean, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle, which we appreciated. The courtyard area with multiple seating areas, games, and bbq was beautiful! We spent every evening out there for a couple hours. The beds were very comfortable. And after we checked out and left we forgot a pair of shoes in the room and the staff was kind enough to text me to let us know so we can come back for it! 10/10 will absolutely choose the sunset again!

Pros - staff are awesome! Renovated and very cute hotel, rooms are very nice There are bikes, lots of sports equipment, water towers for you to fill your bottles and glasses. Cons - in the Harbour area, so quite a ways from the main strip. Pool is actually in a hotel across the street, the pictures make it look like it’s on the grounds. The price for Montauk was great, so overall you get great bang for your buck. I would definitely stay there again!

I thoroughly enjoyed !! Impressed at check-in with Welcoming and friendly staff. They offer coffee and ice water in the lobby. If I needed a beach chair, umbrella or beach towel that was available at no extra charge. I used a bicycle to ride around town also no extra charge. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed was very comfy ! I highly recommend and I will be back !!
